Description

Product DescriptionOriginally composed for the video of the same name, the score is a 58 minute uninterrupted stream of serene, symphonic sacred music inspired by the vibration of the Christ energy. Intimate, contemplative, ambient, moving. Good for meditation or atmospheric uplift. Editorial Reviews”It’s been a while since we heard from one of the leading female synth musicians (actually so much more than just a synth musician) of the eighties and early nineties, whose album “Novus Magnificat” can lay claim to be one of the finest USA synth music albums of the eighties. “Faces” is one near hour-long track of cosmic/space music distilled to its purest essence. It’s the sort of music that crosses all the boundaries between dark and light without losing any listeners at either extreme end of the space music spectrum. Realised purely on synths and electronics, this is the sound of the universe calling as you are transfixed by something you don’t understand and yet are in absolute awe if hearing. It needs no more than for you to buy it, play it and be spellbound, for that is surely what will happen.” – Andy Garibaldi – CD Services “Faces of the Christ captures the experience — the wonder, the struggle, and the ecstacy — of that very plain where spirit inhabits flesh and flesh grasps for eternity. Rich emotion pulls. Angel voices lure. Demby’s music is the fisherman’s net of this tantalizing predicament, and love is the glue that keeps one present. Listen deeply and don the face of Christ on your own being.”- Carol Wright – Music writer _________________________________________________________________Truly a stunning piece of meditation music. I recommend that if you burn this to CD, remove all delays between tracks and if you load this onto a portable player do the same if possible. This music is best experienced as one continuous piece. I have no idea why it was split into different tracks on the CD.Here’s the album’s Amazon page where you can hear a sample: http://www.amazon.com/Faces-Christ-Constance-Demby/dp/B00005…This is released as a FLAC, not because it is some hi-tech brainwave whatever, its a FLAC because it is beautiful music and should be listened to as was intended and not butchered by compression. If you want to download and butcher it, be my guest. Enjoy!Starlion
