Description

Product DescriptionIn this book, the author examines the history and applications of urine therapy. This ancient Eastern tradition has only just begun to gain popularity in the West as a natural alternative to modern drugs and surgery. Urine therapy is the oldest natural remedy, and can be used either internally or externally to aid in a variety of ailments. This book is valuable because not only does it examine the research and verification of the effectiveness of urine therapy, but it also takes a more personal approach with its many insights and personal stories. The Golden Fountain is definitely one of the most comprehensive and convincing treatises on urine therapy available today. From the Back CoverUrine therapy…is an ancient Eastern tradition which is gaining popularity in the West. Devotees, who include the actress Sarah Miles, claim that it is the oldest of natural remedies and swear by its health enhancing properties. The venerable former prime minister of India, Morarji Desai – who was 99 and in excellent health when the author met him in 1994 – was open about the fact that he drank a glassful of his own urine every day. It was while he was in India in 1990 that Coen van der Kroon was given the opportunity to experience the therapy’s benefits first hand, following an accident. Afterwards, he embarked on a long journey around the world to research its history, uses and efficacy. The Golden Fountain, the most complete book to date on urine therapy, is the result of those wide-ranging investigations. The author tackles his subject with sensitivity and conviction. He provides a comprehensive overview of urine therapy’s history throughout the world, together with detailed case histories and a user-friendly guide to its practical application in relation to specific ailments. Swami Pragyamurti Saraswati, a strong advocate of urine therapy who teaches in London, has written an authoritative foreword to the book while individual accounts from people who have tried it and found it beneficial add a fascinating personal touch. As an intriguing do-it-yourself home treatment, urine therapy is often the subject of lively debate, but there’s one thing that everybody agrees upon. It’s absolutely free!Product Details    * Paperback: 126 pages    * Publisher: Wishland; English translation edition (October 15, 1996)    * Language: English    * ISBN-10: 0963209159    * ISBN-13: 978-0963209153 5.0 out of 5 stars Takes a bit of getting used to …but!, April 26, 2005This review is from: Golden Fountain: The Complete Guide to Urine Therapy (Paperback)I won’t go into the actual chapter by chapter content of this book, as reviewer ‘Tepi’ has already done an excellent job of that, but having steeled myself to try this therapy I have a few words to say regarding the effects.Firstly – it works. I don’t believe this to be a placebo effect, as I’ve tried many other remedies for various ills, and none have delivered the amazing results that urine therapy has in just three months. My previously constant urinary tract irritation has disappeared at last, and my body feels much stronger. Recently I took an overseas trip where I was surrounded by people with the flu – starting with all the air hostesses on the way out and culminating with most of my family upon my return. I didn’t catch it, which for me is quite amazing, especially considering the stress I was under.I find it perplexing that some reviewers and ‘medical experts’ are so dismissive of this therapy – claiming that there is no scientific evidence to prove that it works. This seems to fly in the face of the fact that urine derivatives are used in a host of medicines that are prescribed by ‘medical experts’, and bought over the pharmaceutical counter by countless ‘normal’ people who would never entertain the idea of ingesting their own urine. However, horse urine or urine from other people (or derivatives thereof) are deemed (perhaps unknowingly) as perfectly acceptable. Go figure! My advice to all of you out there who are suffering from chronic ailments that are unresponsive to orthodox therapy is – go and buy this book, read it, and give the therapy a go. After all – what do you have to lose? Even the most rabid ‘expert’ detractors will admit that it does no harm. But do read the book before you start swilling down gallons of your own urine, as there are circumstances where a homeopathic dose, or rubbing on the skin is preferable to drinking. Especially if you happen to be on potent drugs of any sort.Keep your mind open, and good luck! Please contribute back by OCRing and Proofreading this book.I recommend ABBYY Finereader 10 for doing this work in a relatively easy way.If you plan to do that please leave a comment here so the effort won’t be duplicated by others. Please post back the final pdf and I’d also appreciate the project files as well (please PM if you do).
