Eyesight Improvement Eyesight improvement has several aspects. One is giving your eyes an opportunity to rest, allowing your eyes to relax. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, you may want to spend as much time as possible without them and use them only when you absolutely need them. You may also want to invest some time daily in consciously relaxing your eyes. Just imagine and feel every cell and atom of your eyes relaxing, all tension dissolving into nothingness. Sometimes people become surprised when they notice how much sharper their vision is instantly, when their eyes have had a chance to relax.Second aspect to eyesight improvement is strengthening the muscles of your eyes. To do this you can engage in a very simple practice of rolling your eyes – up, right, left, down, in a circle to the left and in a circle to the right. Just like your body, your eyes can benefit from some exercise to function at their best. The second part of this practice is changing your focus – looking at something that is near you, then looking at something that is far away, then looking through things by looking at something that is near, but directing your focus far beyond it (as if you were looking through it). This last technique allows you to look at something with relaxed eyes, without straining.Third aspect to eyesight improvement deals with resolving any emotional issues that may be associated with poor eyesight. If you had some experiences in your life that you wished you “didn’t see” because they caused you some emotional pain, this desire to “not see” may have been impressed upon your subconscious mind and actualized as a poor vision. It will help you to improve your eyesight if you resolve such emotional issues, if you re-imprint such experiences, so that you feel comfortable with the idea of seeing.Fourth aspect to eyesight improvement deals with simple imagery that will reprogram your subconscious mind for perfect vision. You may use any metaphor that works for you. For example, some people have imagined that the lenses of their eyes are as sharp as those of a camera. For you some other metaphor may work better.
