An indian book on magnets and healing                    Foreword       With the advent of medical science and technology we have a number of methods by which the diseases and disorders in the human body can be cured. Magneto therapy is one among such methods. Unfortunately, despite its effectiveness this therapy has not yet received a wide publicity. The method of its application for the cure from diseases is very simple and so with a very little information and guidance the patients on their own can make the best use of it. Being cheap, simple to operate and still very effective in its results it has raised hopes in the minds of the patients suffering from various diseases. It is my humble effort to make the people know this method of treatment and endeavour it to turn it to account for the welfare of mankind at large.        We know that heavenly bodies are full of magnetic power. On earth, we have the north and the South poles. This magnetic power also exists in the human body. It has been discovered that the magnets produce effect on the human body. Thus the magneto therapy is based on Scientific research.        After many Scientific Experiments the magneto therapy has deduced some basic truths which can be considered in the application of the therapy to cure the diseases and ailments in the patients. The method of its application being simple, this therapy is gaining popularity day by day.        There are many   systems of treatment such as Allopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurvedic & Unani. They are based on Scientific research and investigations. For the treatment under such therapies we have ‘to depend on the experts or doctors who have the knowledge of such science. Such is not the case with magneto therapy. The method of its application being very simple, the patients can use it by themselves successfully. We have opened such centers where this type of treatment is given free of charge. In this took I have made an humble attempt t() show what experiences have been gained and benefits received by the patients who received treatment under this therapy. The pictures given in this book are self exploratory and can convince the readers how cheap, easy and useful the treatment, under such therapy is … The pictures show how the application of this treatment is made in various ailments with the patients. With the help of these pictures the readers can use the magnets for themselves in the treatment of diseases.         An instances which occurred in my house on the 6th of April 1982 promoted me to take up to this therapy and try it on several other patients suffering from different     diseases. It so happened that my wife received an electric shock at night on 6-2-82. She became nearly half conscious. The members of our family g ave her first   aid for about 20 minutes. They gave her blows on her body. Then we.sent for Mr. D. V. Raverkar who has had training in Magneto therapy under Dr. Hiralal Bansal of Delhi. He put the magnets on the two affected fingers. This gave her a relief and the pain subsided within 10 minutes. Then the magnets were put on her limbs and back. The oil used in Electric transformer  was also used in this treatment….
