But when it comes to achieving more romantically, financially, and spiritually, influences from others can be a limitation.Most people don’t realize it, but we are all energetically connected to others. For example, you hear of people who sense a loved one is in danger – even someone located hundreds of miles away. Once the incident is investigated, it’s discovered that this loved one was in an accident or some other heavy experience.While these connections with others can be helpful at times, on a subtle level, “energy transfers” like limiting beliefs, emotional reactions, and health issues occur with these deep-rooted connections. This is where the trouble occurs.For example, if you are energetically connected with your father, even if you don’t know it, you will likely inherit the traits from him that you appreciate. But along with the benefits come the limitations. If your goal is to create a large successful corporation, and your father always believed in taking minimal risk and not thinking too big, this creates a problem. Until you break off the connection, you risk this always being a limitation in your goals. This can occur on an emotional level, but also on a spiritual level. Your ability to manifest the right people and resources to make your dreams come true will remain stifled.These energetic connections usually occur on an unconscious level. Someone with metaphysical training can usually sense these connections between two people – it’s not hard to see with a bit of experience. An amateur technique to become aware of with these connections is to start examining your beliefs, ideas, and reactions. With a bit of honesty, it’s easy to see how much of what occurs within us is not original – it’s borrowed from a family member, friend, teacher, or someone we admire.With this lesson, free yourself by learning effective methods for recognizing and removing these connections.
