If you are concerned about not having a piece of equipment (bands, tubing, ball, weights), you can always make substitutions. The workouts are progressively more aggressive, so if workout #3 is too hard, stay with workout #1. I prefer using a circuit style approach, to save time, and to achieve a metabolic effect. Also the conditioning protocols at the end of dvd 1 are superb.The first dvd is suitable for anyone from a beginner to an advanced level of fitness. It offers variety within consistency. I would recommend it 9 out of 10. Dvd 2 is incredible…the exercise protocols are more suited, in my opinion to the advanced exerciser. As a lakan 2 (2nd degree blackbelt) in Arnis Maharlika. I am using these protocols extensively. My prefered method is to put together a sequence of leg protocol, push protocol (metabolic arms) and pull protocol (big back). When I am fitter I will go through the sequence twice, or 3 times. I would recommend that you be at a fairly level of fitness before trying these protocols. They are perfectly suited to competitive, or higher level athletes, as they will build strength, quickness, endurance, and toughness (mental and physical) I would rate it 10 out of 10, and I think my students will learn to love it.As a final indication of the versatility of the two dvds, I suffer from oesteoarthritis in my left knee, left ankle, and left hip as well as avascular necrosis in the hip.
