They’re something you do with your opponent: he strikes, you block, you strike, he blocks. Combat Sanshou is a fighting art, and the purpose is to put your enemy on the ground without following him there: a true stand-up combat system designed for real-world combative application. In Part One of this three-part series, master martial scientist Wim Demeere provides detailed instruction in the truly devastating upper body strikes of Combat Sanshou. Beginning with the essential punches that every good fighter must have in his arsenal, such as the jab, cross and uppercut, he then goes into the brutal forearm and elbow strikes specific to this fighting art. From there, he teaches lightning-fast defenses against these attacks, demonstrating how you can string offensive and defensive combinations together to completely overwhelm and defeat your attacker.Quote:In Part Two of this three-part series, master martial scientist Wim Demeere teaches Combat Sanshou’s brutal kicking and sweeping techniques. In addition to showing the basics such as front, side and roundhouse kicks, he also teaches knee strikes that won’t make you compromise your base and balance, proper stomping techniques and how to defend yourself against kicks that can go as low as the ankle or as high as the face. Finally, he demonstrates several leg sweeps that you can use to send your opponent to the ground and put him at your mercy.Quote:Part Three of this three-part series addresses the final aspects of Combat Sanshou’s vicious fighting strategy: slamming your enemy to the ground and keeping him there for good, if necessary. Relying on the simple, basic combative principles of immediate entry and taking away your opponent’s base, Wim Demeere shows you fast, hard throws and takedowns that will work no matter how skilled a person you’re fighting. Once your opponent’s down, Demeere demonstrates joint manipulations, slams and stomps to keep him from getting up and trying to fight with you againLinks:http://www.paladin-press.com/product/Combat_Sanshou_Vol3/Chi…http://www.paladin-press.com/product/Combat_Sanshou_ThePunis…http://www.paladin-press.com/product/Combat_Sanshou_Vol2/Chi…http://www.paladin-press.com/product/Combat_Sanshou_ThePunis… You can get a podcast with  Wim Demeere as well from those links. This DVD set is a soild teaching (as much as a DVD can be) of Sanshou. Worth a view! 690 total minutes of good info.Basically, Jaden Smith would have gotten his ass beaten IRL if he went to China to pick a fight a fight in a martial arts tournament. Even with Jackie Chan in his corner. This DVD set proves it. Sanshou is a wonderful and tactical fighting process.Fucking remakes… ‘Karate Kid’ my ass! There was no fucking Karate in that film! Not even Kenpo- which was what we are all expecting to see him use!  All can DL this product now. Enjoy!
