Comment: I’d known about these books for a number of years but not gone near them because new age spirituality isn’t my cup of tea. When I had a chance to get the first volume for free, I decided to take a look.  What a fascinating read!  The books have spurred a back-to-the-land movement in Russia and elsewhere. Enough people must think so for the books to have hit the best seller list in Russia without any advertising, or even a publisher!And who are Anastasia’s grandfathers? What is their connection with what Anastasia calls the “dark forces?” They seem wise, but can we really trust their wisdom? Though the writing style is awkward, and the series is occasionally bogged down with Russian politics, there is enough profound and useful information to make the books hard to put down.
