Description

From 1989, it’s the first of the original Firm workouts to use a step box. You get two types of aero/tone training. Most combos blend the aerobics right into the toning (e.g. a plyometric sequence that uses dumbbells to boost the fat-burning while the dumbbells sculpt your arms). Other sequences are classic intervals — pure cardio segments alternated with pure toning intervals. The step box is also used in two ways. Sometimes it’s used for true “step aerobics” cardio exercises; other times it’s used to improve toning effectiveness (e.g. slowly stepping up and down to target your buttocks). The program ends with a varied set of floorwork exercises. Like all the original Firms, you get jazz-style music, an elegant set and high quality production. Requires two sets of dumbbells (e.g. 3 & 10 lb). They use a high step, but a regular step will work. Ankle weights are optional. ©1989  Chapter menus, Narrow screen.
