Focussed on self-defense and includes demonstrations with photos. He does have a great, witty style of writing and even if you’ll never use any of this his stories are a good laugh sometimes. Again punching, kicking, blocking, parrying, knees, elbows and how to disarm someone with a knife.On women? Well he deals with something I haven’t seen dealt with anywhere else… The kind of women who like men to, literally, fight over them. I’ve come across this a number of times and his advice did help me a lot the last couple of times. You’ve heard DeAngelo tell you to beware of these women but he ain’t very helpful on the how-to-defuse-the-situation stuff when it does come. Mr MacYoung  is.This is easily and definitely the most useful martial arts e-book I’ve come across. He doesn’t just focus on technique. He also talks about the right attitude which will ensure you won’t have to defend yourself by stopping the fight before it starts.
