http://www.amazon.com/Handbook-Osteopathic-Technique-Laurie-Hartman/dp/0412623102/Product DescriptionThis handbook discusses all aspects of modern osteopathic techniques, including indirect technique. This book should aid learning and development using descriptions and photographs, emphasize the most and least suitable procedures for varied body types and show how to improve skill and assist constructive learning. Information is also given on modifying factors that fit different techniques to different subjects and models of dysfunction and contra-indications to technique. The book is designed for students of osteopathy but it will also be valuable for physiotherapists, chiropractors and manipulative physicians who wish to expand their knowledge of effective, modern, gentle osteopathic methods. This book should be of interest to Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and students in these areas.Product Details    Paperback: 304 pages    Publisher: Nelson Thornes Ltd; 3rd edition (November 14, 1996)    Language: English    ISBN-10: 0412623102    ISBN-13: 978-04126231035.0 out of 5 stars Osteopathic Lab Manual, March 8, 2007By John T. Zipple “CMU Prof” (Mount Pleasant, MI)This text is a wonderful newest edition to a great first edition. I use it to supplement manipulative techniques in the course on Manual Therapy that I teach.5.0 out of 5 stars He does it so easy, February 24, 2001By G.J.Heijnsbroek (Oude Tonge, Z-H Netherlands)I’ve met Laurie Hartman at F.I.C.O.,Flanders International College of Osteopathy, were he tought his techniques. He is so brilliant that he remaines the modest man himself. His manipulations as he does it are so easy and we ,the students , are wresteling with it.I’ve learned to follow the tissues and not the technique as we learned them. Thank you. Please contribute back by OCRing *and* Spellchecking/Proofreading (!) this book. I recommend ABBYY Finereader 10 for doing this work in a relatively easy way. There are other applications as well. The important thing is to spellcheck and correct any mistakes the automatic software run did – often people just run automatic conversion and upload here a pdf that has many mistakes and/or can’t be converted to other digital formats.  If you start to do the process please leave a comment here so the effort won’t be duplicated by others. Thank you.
