In the early 1980s at the Mayflower Hotel in NY she accurately described a developmental problem for my daughter, who was determined later to have Rett Syndrome. Her book MY LIFE ACROSS THE TABLE is notable for several reasons. It is well written and enticing – one of those books you don’t want to put down once begun. Her book describes the difficulties she encountered as a young person with more psychic ability than mature experience, which makes for several chapters of very interesting reading. She puts the reader in her shoes, so to speak, throughout the book. Are psychics surprised? Darn right. Are they ever scared? Darn right. Are they ever correct about what they “see”? Darn right.
