Jane Roberts – The ”Unknown” Reality, Vol. 1: A Seth Book (1996)Quote:From http://www.amazon.com/The-Unknown-Reality-Vol-Seth/dp/187842…The “Unknown” Reality, Vol. 1: A Seth Book, 1996by Seth (Author), Jane Roberts  (Author), Robert F. Butts  (Commentary)Quote:Amazon Reviewer:Since this is a Seth book, I recommend you read “Seth Speaks” and then “The Nature of Personal Reality” first before you read this book. It is volume 1 of 2 and it is significantly smaller than volume 2. It is also more expensive than volume 2. In my opinion, the books should have been sold as 1 volume. Some of my favorite topics and if you will higher wisdoms included in the book are as follows:There is One God, but within that God are many. There is one self, but within that one self are many. You live all your lives at once. All time exists at once. All units of consciousness exist at once. Our religions for the most part have taught us to hate physical existence. They have taught us to love God but have not taught us to experience the gods within us.We constantly create probable selves that are as real as us. We for the most part don’t possess the ability to follow those lives as they break away from us.The male aspects of Christ were the ones that Western Civilization emphasized. Other portions of his teachings did not follow the main line of Christian thought, and were buried. Most of us have forgotten our “Source Soul”. We embrace the illusion of the “separation”. Seth refers to it as “gone native”. We as the children of our Source Soul forgot that we can move through time as easily as through space.Since thought precedes physical reality, it is only natural that we experience many thoughts as fiction, art or pure theory. In other words we experience the “ideal” as thought. The art of dreaming is a science long forgotten by our world. Such an art, pursued, trains the mind in a new kind of consciousness-one that is equally at home in either existence, well grounded and secure in each. Almost anyone can become a satisfied and productive amateur in this art-science; but its true fulfillment takes years of training, a strong sense of purpose, and a dedication-as does any true vocation.”Your present universe is a mass-shared dream, quite valid-a dream that presents a reality in a certain light; a dream that is above all meaningful, creative, based not upon chaos, but upon spontaneous order. To understand it, however, you must go to another level of consciousness-one where, perhaps, the dream momentarily does not seem so real. There, from another viewpoint, you can see it even more clearly, holding it like a photograph in your hands; at the same time you can see from that broader perspective that you do indeed also stand outside the dream context, but in a `within’ that cannot show in the snapshot because of its limitations.”Finally, Seth mentions a past civilization that was able to travel thru space and time using mental physics. They created ancient maps drawn from a 200-mile-or-more vantage point-these meticulously completed on return from such journeys. This book was amazing. There are even practice elements that while seemingly difficult are achievable. I was amazed at the results; onto volume 2.
