I think hardly anyone knows of the CD by him because even if they do come across it they are unsure if it is the same man. I can confirm it is the original Iceberg Slim and that, like his books, this CD is profaine, raw and soul searching and deep. If you enjoyed PIMP this is for you. He speaks elequently over jazz music written especially, in rhyme, but not much like today’s rappers do. Iceberg does so more poetically as a story teller. You just sit back enjoying the story and how he tells them puts you right there, you feel him. He is a gifted speaker. Obviously his previous profession helped prepare him for this: when he had to keep the attention and minds of several women.
