This video provides demonstration of Kata moves from several Pinan (Heian) Kata’s as well as others including Naihanchi (Tekki)and Bunkai (Applications)for various moves in these katas which relate to holds, strikes and wrist techniques.The Locking techniques demonstrated will be familiar to most Kempo people whilst the throwing and hold down techniques will be familiar to most Judo and Ju Jutsu people.This video is demonstrated from the perspective of Wado Ryu versions of the various Kata’s and the Bunkai is presented with other plausible alternatives.This is an ideal instructional video for people who practise Shotokan and Wado Ryu Karate and are interested in extending their skills into grappling arts.
