The Indian Legends say that they were told by the Earth Mother which grasses and grains to ‘touch one another’ and to attend to in growing the first ‘EARS’ of Corn. To this day the fruit of their plant is called the ‘Ear of Corn’, because they could ‘Hear the Earth Mother’ speaking softly, lovingly, kindly; and at times, like the whispering of her breath, the wind, into their Ears with words of Love, Knowledge and Wisdom.
