He has served as the clinical director of the Learning Disability Assessment Project, a program of the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Disability Evaluation Service. In addition to maintaining a private practice, Dr. Nowell provides consultation to patients in rehabilitation and psychiatric hospital settings. His research interests include cultural competency in the clinical interview and the impact of traumatic brain injury on social and vocational functioning.
