The cardio portion is high intensity but not high impact. She uses a lot of upper body moves to get your heart rate going, and there are modifications from the background exercisers if you want to take the intensity down a notch. All you need for the DVD is a set of dumbbells and a yoga mat. (A kettlebell is optional.) You can either do all six workouts at once or pick and choose your own workout.
