www.yogason.comYOGASONThe ethical discipline®ForBody, Life and MindYogason deals with a part of the Indian Philosophy, i.e. Yoga Philosophy, relevant to the subject of body, life and mind; it teaches methods to build and strengthen both body and mind  simultaneously in order to develop peace within ourselves, a peace which will expand to our outside environment as well.Yoga Philosophy explains the close connection between  mind and body, a PSYCHOPHYSICAL PHENOMENON. The wise ancient Indian philosophers have preached the marvellous axiom for mental emancipation from the present cruel, selfish and unstable material world.ATMANAM VIDDHI (Know Thyself) is the key concept of achieving our desired happiness through methodical scientific body & mind exercises called YOGASON.Yogic postures prepare the BODY in order for the MIND to MEDITATE.Here the word Yoga truly refers to the perfect union of body and mind. Asanas are the specific body movements in various poses that have direct psychic effect; this is a science, derived empirically over the ages – science of bringing about patience, self-control and peace in life. So yogic performances here are some precisely defined physical exercises helping in developing physical fitness and mental concentration simultaneously; and with mental exercises, i.e. meditation your mind will become calmer, clearer, concentrated and alert.Body houses the mind, so care over body in a definite disciplined way will take care of the mind – liberating the gift of purified, healthy and peaceful senses.Yoga can help you to handle almost all situations with ease, clarity and effectiveness. I am confident that if you practise yoga, it will bring happiness, self-confidence, positive self-image and better interaction with others.PRINCIPLES TO BE OBSERVED FOR YOGIC POSTURESAsanas should be done on an empty stomach or at least one hour after a light meal in a well-ventilated room. Use of a blanket or a mat; and comfortable and loose-fitting clothing are recommended. The first principle of Yogic postures is that they should be practised in a slow and steady manner. All jerks should be carefully avoided. One should always breathe evenly through the nostrils, and not through the mouth. In no case should breathing be held unless specifically mentioned. The second principle is that having attained a final position in a particular posture, one should maintain the posture in a comfortable and relaxed manner. While maintaining the posture, one should concentrate on the relaxed muscles and try to relax them further. Mind should not be allowed to wander. The fourth principle is that in attaining or maintaining the final position in any of the postures, due regard should be given to limitations set by one’s age, sex and bodily condition. Please visit http://www.yogason.com for further information
