http://www.hypnosis.edu/HMI’s Foundations in Hypnotherapy Course represents the nucleus of all of HMI’s philosophy and is the required first step in HMI training for students seeking HMI education awards and union certification.Regardless of the student’s background or previous training, the Foundations in Hypnotherapy Course is the most important as well as the most fun and exciting of all of HMI’s training programs.The Foundations Course is full of demonstrations and practical assignments. The principal goals of the Foundations course are the Emotional and Physical (E&P) Suggestibility and Sexuality concepts, created by Dr. John Kappas.Greatly responsible for HMI’s success and reputation, these written and oral exams provide the hypnotist with a behavioral profile that enables them to organize their linguistic pattern to perfectly match the suggestibility of the subject. The use of the E & P Suggestibility profile renders virtually everyone hypnotizable.Another tenet of HMI philosophy established in the Foundations Course is the Message Unit Theory of Hypnosis, providing students with a precise understanding of exactly what hypnosis is, how it is created and the difference between inductions that organize vs. disorganize the inhibitory process.The Foundations Course is equally dedicated to understanding these vital theoretical concepts and the practical skills of testing suggestibility, interpreting the results and hypnotizing the subject according to his or her unique suggestibility pattern.The result is 12 hours of fun and action packed instruction that will train you how to hypnotize yourself and others. Upon successful completion, graduates receive a Certificate of Completion in Foundations in Hypnotherapy from HMI’s Nationally Accredited College of Hypnotherapy noting your recognition as a Certified Hypnotist by the AFL/CIO Hypnotherapists Union, Local 472.
