Description

The Pimsleur Method:With Pimsleur language courses, you will quickly learn to speak a new language and understand it as well. You’re not just learning “phrases” with the Pimsleur method, you’re acquiring essential, conversational language skills! You’ll be thrilled to discover you can hold real conversations in your new language when you have finished the course. Dr. Pimsleur devoted his life to language teaching and was one of the world’s leading experts in applied linguistics. After years of research and development, including field studies of spoken language training with adults, Dr. Pimsleur created a new method for self–instruction in spoken languages that is based on the way the human brain takes in language as speech. Of the several unique features of the Method, two key principles: the Principle of Anticipation and a scientific principle of memory that he called Graduated Interval Recall This is the only language teaching program which incorporates these essential principles to provide you with the most easy–to–do, amazingly rapid, and highly cost–effective Hindi is the name given to an Indo-Aryan language, or a dialect continuum of languages, spoken in northern and central India (the “Hindi belt”).Native speakers of Hindi dialects account for 41% of the Indian population (2001 Indian census). As defined in the Constitution, Hindi is the official language of India and is one of the 22 scheduled languages specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution. Official Hindi is often described as Modern Standard Hindi, which is used, along with English, for administration of the central Indian government.Standard Hindi is a sanskritised register derived from the khari boli dialect. Urdu is a different, persianised, register of the same dialect. However, speakers of the two dialects can easily communicate. Taken together, these registers are historically also known as Hindustani. Here’s the Hindi I course from Pimsleur in lossless FLAC.Sorry about the horrid quality on the booklet. I think it’s probably good enough to get by, but some of the pages are awful blurry. I’m going to have to invest in a scanner soon for future rips… taking photos of the pages isn’t working out so well.Anyways, it’s the same as the other rips I’ve done. Useless junk (Copyright notices, etc.) has been removed from the beginning and end of all the tracks.Enjoy!
