New students and aspiring first-time instructors are also welcome to begin their teaching journey with the Zumba program.Anyone interested in becoming a Zumba Instructor must attend a Zumba Instructor Training course, and then must keep their instructor license current through a variety of courses offered by the Zumba Academy, or by joining the Zumba® Instructor Network (ZIN™).The first step in becoming a Zumba Instructor is to attend one of these introductory courses: Zumba® Basic Steps Level 1.Zumba® Basic Steps Level 1This course teaches you the foundation and formula to teach Zumba® classes! You’ll learn the basic steps to the four basic Zumba rhythms (merengue, salsa, cumbia, reggaeton), and then learn how to put these steps together into a song. Pretty soon you’ll have enough songs to lead your first Zumba class!
