This book is about building muscle. Make no doubt about it, Mr. Brink shows you how to put together a solid nutritional program that’s designed to build muscle. If your into bodybuilding, strength training, powerlifting, or any other power sport that requires power, than you might want to read this book. Muscle Building Nutrition shows you how to calculate nutritional ratios designed specifically for your body weight and body type. Not only that, it has grade A nutritional supplement reviews, training programs, and a host of other great resources as well.Generally, nutrition can be quite confusing. Everyone is different and we all need different combinations of foods for optimal growth given our age, genetics, exercise levels, and metabolism. In order to keep your body growing, you need to constantly feed it with the necessary nutrients that are conducive to building muscle. Foods that are conducive to building muscle include optimal amounts of carbohydrates, protein, fat, and vitamins and minerals.Let me ask you a question, what do you think of when you hear the word dieting? Eating less? Losing weight? Today, there are so many innovative diet plans out there but very few of them are geared towards helping individuals gain size and strength. Most diets are geared towards losing weight that are tailored to people who are only concerned about losing that “spare tire” around their waist. When most people think of dieting, they think of getting smaller. Yet, it’s equally important that you diet to grow big. To expand your muscles, you need to always be aware of the foods you’re fueling and feeding them with. Along with training and rest, proper nutrition is one of the three essential principles of optimal muscle growth. If you want to build size and power, you have to get your nutritional plan down. No question about it.There is a small percentage of people out there who actually want to gain muscular weight. Whether you are a hard gainer, strength trainer, bodybuilder or just someone who wants to add a couple of pounds to your frame, gaining quality weight is just as important as losing weight. Here’s the problem. How do you structure a diet that is conducive to building muscle? What should you be eating? High protein, low carb? High protein, high fat? What amount of food should you be eating? This is what Will Brink’s e-book is all about. It’s about structuring pesonalized muscle building nutrition programs. The first part of Muscle Building Nutrition covers the basics of nutrition. The reader is introduced to the macronutrients, protein, carbohydrates, and fat. Each nutrient is covered in great detail as to give the reader a complete understanding of each of these important elements. The goal of this section is to lay the foundation for proper nutrition that will increase lean body mass while minimizing increases in body fat. I really enjoyed this section because it was easy to read and had loads of useful information. Here’s what’s covered in section 1The Macro-nutrients (protein, carbohydrats, and fat)A detailed discussion of protein, carbohydrates, and fat. A real eye opener! The third part of the e-book looks at mass training routines from world renowned strength coach, Charles Poliquin. I have to say, this was a fantastic section.
