Description

I noticed other users uploading these sessions, so I figured I’d add to their efforts by uploading the ones they missed. I’ll split them up so I can do the presentation nicely.Udaya and Venice Beach/Yoga Collective have a 12USD monthly subscription that gets access to their video collection, yoga sessions from their instructors and guest instructors. These are high quality HD 720p videos. Maybe we should do a GB sometime and get the whole collection? That would be a LOT of yoga!Keep in mind, every yoga teacher has their own style, they may not all fit yours, just try them out and don’t get discouraged.Rudy Mettia: Cry Me a River (60 Minutes)About the instructor:Rudy often describes himself as “obsessed” with yoga and it is clearly evident in his teaching. Utilizing his experiences both on and off the mat, he inspires students to challenge their perceived boundaries while respecting their limitations. As he guides students within the class, he carefully breaks down each movement, finding myopic muscle and energetic actions to achieve the most of each position. Always teaching from experience, whether cautioning about potential injuries, recommending the perfect modification, or reminding a student to stay calm, focused, and within the moment, Rudy uses his wit and charisma to motivate his students. His teaching style helps beginners understand the asana and can revive even the longest yogi’s practice, breathing in new life with a deeper physical and philosophical understanding. Rudy’s intelligent sequencing and unique transitions create an ever-changing experience through the most basic of postures. Each practice with Rudy is an adventure but the result is always the same, elation from meeting a challenge head on that helps create a strong and resilient physique and mind. Armed with a huge heart, wicked sense of humor, and fierce belief in the practice, Rudy’s enthusiasm for yoga shines through in every class helping each of his students to become a yoga warrior themselves. In just ten brief years, and yet after a long decade of journey and self discovery, Rudy Mettia has ascended from teaching yoga in an abandoned back room of a church nestled at the foot of the Hollywood hills, to claim his place among the top tier of yoga teachers in the hyper competitive mecca of the American yoga scene, Santa Monica, California, thereby the country.Source: UdayaOne of Udaya primary instructors, we have his Yoga Warrior 365 program here on TPclick in SD and HD, which I would recommend for intermediate yogi’s due to him not always giving cues. Other than that it’s a fairly gentle program. He likes to crack jokes here and there, but he’s definitely a good one.About the class:High Intensity core class using various plank positions to engage and ignite the deeper core muscles for a stronger and integrated center mass thus more power and integrity for the body while performing asanas.Source: UdayaLevel: AdvancedI figured I’d do this one for fun, since we all know ‘Advanced’ really just means ‘Intermediate’. My core broke up with me afterwards. It’s not super difficult, just tough.Video: x264-Main@L4; 1280*720 (16:9); 1624 Kbps; 23.976 fpsAudio: AAC-LC; 160 Kbps; 2 Ch; 48.0 Khz
