Description

Udaya and Venice Beach/Yoga Collective have a 12USD monthly subscription that gets access to their video collection, yoga sessions from their instructors and guest instructors. These are high quality HD 720p videos. Udaya is having a 35% discount sales for the holidays on their DVD products. All have already been uploaded on TPclick, but in case you want to get an original, here’s your chance. If you feel like doing so, I strongly recommend The Ultimate Yogi.Keep in mind, every yoga teacher has their own style, they may not all fit yours, just try them out and don’t get discouraged.Michelle Goldstein: Quad Flow (60 Minutes)About the instructor:Michelle leads workshops, immersions & retreats worldwide as well as teaching at Santa Monica Power Yoga & Equinox Fitness Clubs. She has studied with many inspiring teachers, among them Bryan Kest, Annie Carpenter, Max Strom, Jerome Mercier and Erich Schiffman.Known for her creative vinyasas (sequences of yoga asana) and pranayama, Michelle Goldsteins teaching integrates influences from various forms of movement and meditation.Source: UdayaOne of my favorite instructors. She has sessions dealing with the muscles most need to work on. Talks a bit much, but usually to explain yoga and yoga concepts.About the class:60 minutes of a rigorous all over yoga flow practice with 20 minutes of cool-down & floor stretches with an emphasis on stretching the quadriceps.Source: UdayaWe’ve done the hips, then the hamstrings, more hamstrings, now the quads. If you still feel like walking tomorrow, hat off to you. After this, I’m doing one more short one in this little 3 hour journey. Then I’m eating 10 bananas sprinkled with whey powder. This one is more vigorous than the Hamstring Flow. She keeps good pace, going into a series of Surya Namaskara B (Sun Salute with Chair and Warrior 1) for a warm-up, followed by standing poses and balance work. Some awkward poses. No exotic poses, but not what I’d call an easy session either.Level: Intermediate/AdvancedVideo: x264-Main@L4; 1280*720 (16:9); 1428 Kbps; 23.976 fpsAudio: AAC-LC; 160 Kbps; 2 Ch; 48.0 Khz
