Reviews:I recently received my TRX Force Kit and I have been doing the 12 week workout. My core is on FIRE the day after every workout. The suspension training is amazing for core stability. I feel as solid as a brick wall only after only a week of workouts. The other day my friends and I played a game of light-tackle football and I was unstoppable! They said tackling me was like trying to take down a telephone pole. I am definitely going to keep using the TRX until my door falls off the hinges (I use the door anchor). Thank you TRX for helping me reach my full potential. **this is a great review below for the Force kit!I bought the TRX Professional kit about 9 months ago and used it for about 3 months before purchasing the strength workout as well. I was very impressed from the first time I used the basic core routine and the express routine. I had come from a weight lifting background but had always felt that body weight exercises were really the most beneficial way to go with any fitness routine, but had never been able to find anything that really had the overall hard core component I was looking for, as well as the functional aspect that would really give me the best overall workout I could get. The TRX finally delivered on these needs for a perfect workout routine. After 5 months of using the basic routine I graduated up to the 3 month Force Training routine and loved it! It starts out slow for the first 6 weeks because it is a system that goes in 2 week cycles for 12 weeks getting progressively harder until by the 10th week you are doing 3 times the amount of work in half the time as when you started. I’m 47 years old, and weigh about 200 pounds at 5 foot 10 inches, and I can now do 30 handstand push-ups 2 minutes, and my core is seriously “hard core”! Thank you for developing such a great and simple tool for turning the human body into a fine tuned, fully functional machine! Lifting weight is for people who love to do little more than look in mirrors, the TRX workout will make it all real (totally functional) for you in ways you have to experience to believe! I purchased the TRX after I had been reading fitness articles at Military.com regarding PT tests and how to improve my total fitness level. I purchased the product after much debate about whether it would be beneficial for me to do so and now that I am into my third week of the program I am happy with my decision. The Force Kit fits perfectly with my needs of training as I am a detention officer at the Mini-Cassia Criminal Justice Center in Burley, Idaho. I love how I can take this device with me anywhere and also all of the great information that comes with the kit. The TRX isn’t just a fitness tool that leaves you on your own to learn and improve it comes with it’s own network and community. Thank you once again for providing a workout that challenges my endless energy. As the hyper-child in my household, I typically find it very difficult to find a workout that can challenge my store of unlimited energy. We had already purchased and used the TRX strength, core, and flexibility workouts (all were wonderful). But there it was, staring at us on the screen…the military workout. So, as a joint anniversary present to each other, my husband and I purchased the TRX force DVD and guide. I have to admit that it sat on the counter for 3 weeks…we were a little intimidated. However, it has now become a staple in my weekly workout. Workout two was the thing that made me smile the most. I actually had to work into it and do the modified version of the suspended incline press and atomic pushup, but I’m getting there. This is better than triathlon training! NOT TO BE MISSED!! So we looked on the web today and now we see the cardio training DVD…well, my birthday is coming up….!!! Thanks TRX! Keep them coming!! I watched the DVD and knew it was going to help me get my 14 year old freshman football player client ready for summer practice. It absolutely did, he went in stronger and more prepared than any other kid there. I’ve started doing this workout twice a week with my fellow trainers and they are absolutely hooked. This DVD shows how intense you can go with the TRX. I loved how it showed the diffenent levels and how the hardest level was even hard for the the participents to stay with. I love Todd Durkin’s style of encouraging and teaching. I cant wait to try the work out on myself and my athletic clients who need a greater challenge! Though this workout will not make you into a champion power lifter, it will do what most of us want, obtain a high level of functional fitness and strength. Warning you will be sore after this workout, but can ease into it as the exercises can be modified by changing stances and positioning. So I just wanted to comment on this DVD as well and all I can say is WOW. Intense, motivational, incredible workout. Thanks for bringing it. At the end I was starting to have trouble keeping up, but what a great workout. Awesome. Can I have more, please? OK, the personal trainer of 13 years just got his butt kicked! and loved it! Yes trainers need to be pushed too and Ropes and Straps did it for me. This dvd workout rocked! It had my heart rate and my muscles pumped up! I can see how I can intigrate this into some of my client’s sessions. Looking forward to seeing the results from such a demanding workout. As always great product! I have hundreds of workout DVDs and have been working out for 11 years using everything from dumbells to kettlebells, but Ropes and Straps has officially become the most challenging workout I own. The workout is a terrific metabolic circuit challenge. Exercising with Randy Hetrick and Buddy Lee is a very motivating experience. I loved the variety of new exercises that I haven’t seen in other TRX DVDs. This workout smoked me in a good way. I can’t wait to do it again. Please make more workouts with Randy (and Buddy)! I’m a Personal trainer out of Cleveland, Ohio. I started using TRX in my sessions because of their versatility and portablity. Now it has become a main focus in my sessions. My clients prefer them over other equipment. Some have even purchased their own. The core applications are very intense and I can deliver an exhausting full body session to my clients from various planes of motion and angles. I’m very impressed. I quit my gym about 5 months ago – I was travelling for business and not using the gym. And when I did use the gym I was hating the whole process.
