October 14, 2006By MariannThis book is a vitally important source of guidance in the area of child/baby raising, and i feel very grateful to the author Robin Grille for sharing this deeply insightful knowledge with the world. I feel inspired and excited about the prospect of nurturing my child into a confident and deeply aware adult.Although at times confronting, even disturbing, I found the descriptive, historical accounts of child raising throughout the ages particularly helpful towards my understanding of my own parents’ and ancestors’ childhoods, and this is what sets the book apart from all the other parenting books i have read. Its also inspirational to read how greatly parenting has improved and how much children’s suffering has decreased as time has progressed. Robin describes in detail how we can step up to the next level in the evolution of parenting, and with this new understanding comes clarity, compassion, and the ability to allow the old rigid and harmful ways to effortlessly fall away from our parenting techniques.
