Description

Randall Brown- American Indian Conditioning and Fighting SkillsMarketing copy:Quote:The most feared… most respected… and most hyper-skilled fighter who ever walked this earth… was the American Indian. In fact, the lowliest Comanche warrior could wipe out an entire troop of “civilized” soldiers all on his lonesome. Part of it was the warrior’s knowledge of the land and nature — he could run 20 miles without getting winded, and hide for weeks without a trace. You’ll learn to snap an attacker’s neck with three different (and very easy) moves… The most devastating punch ever thrown by a man against another man — a move that can stop a heart… How to quickly “break down” an attacker twice your size and weight… How to escape from having your hands tied… Reverse a knife-to-your-throat situation (very nasty and bloody)… How to break his back and pulverizing his guts… and a dozen more easy moves that will shock and incapacitate ANY sized attacker. There are a lot of Asian and Western Martial Arts on DVD but not so much of the American Indians and their combative ways. This DVD set is mostly about weapons styles. It has good hand to hand with vital strikes used as well but main is on basic weapons (ax, knife spear and club) and their uses in battle. The style is very rough and heavy. Power hits, basic wresting and joint breaks added with eye gouges and stomps. There are very few kicks and about 90% of it is geared to using a knife or a club to fight with or end an fallen enemy. I LOVE the conditioning DVD. Its short but tricks like the Tomahawk push ups and running with water in your mouth are a nice add on to any workout. The leg work of bodywork lunges is effective too.Its worth seeing for historical context. More or less its street on the High Plains of America’s Past! The DVD is well presented and the info is interesting to see- if only once. Will this up ur fighting skills? IDK… Its weapons based and we don’t go around with axes in our belts these days. Still some nice demonstrations of NHB back breakers and neck cranks and eye gouges/hammer fist hits etc are shown in the Unarmed Combat portions. Not mind blowing but reflective of that Indian style of combat that is rarely talked about in the modern view of Marital Arts.If you want to all can DL this one now. Enjoy!
