Release techniques.Everything…But NOTHING was giving me the answers I wanted…theanswers I Needed.And for a while, I was close to giving up.BUT THEN SOMETHING HAPPENEDSomething that changed *everything*.Shortly after making an appearance on a popular Britishtelevision show,’ I received a call at the company officefrom a man who’d seen me on TV.“Richard…” he began… “I’ve got something that yourguys need…something that they can’t afford NOT to have”We talked for a bit and it and while he was a bit crypticfor my tastes, I got the sense that he might have something.So I agreed to meet him at a small cafe on Oxford Street andthe next afternoon, we were sitting face to face.We talked for hours and what I discovered next,blew me away.It turns out that this guy had spent YEARS mastering whathe called…“Installations”…which was basically the art and science of figuring outEXACTLY what beliefs, attitudes, and states a person needsto have in order to perform at the highest possible levelat any given task…And then INSTALLING it in them, very similar to how youwould install software onto your computer, allowing youto run whatever function it is you wanted it to run.He’d been doing this for YEARS working with high-levelathletes and business executives.All of whom came to him by word-of-mouth referrals only.And all of them who had paid him close to a 6 figure fee.“One session with a guy is all I need, Richard…” hesaid.I was interested.So one session is what I gave him…Building The Perfect Pick Up BeastThat weekend, I took him to the bootcamp to see if hecould work his magic.…or rather…to see if he had any magic at all.His first test, Alex.An attendee in his early 30′s.To say Alex struggled mightily with women would bean understatement.For the first forty minutes of the ‘infield’ session,while the other students were doing their approaches,Alex shook like a leaf.His face was bright red. Nothing crazy.And to be honest, it didn’t look like much.The two guys talked for about an hour and thenit was over.Alex headed back into the main bar room in the clubto join the other students who were doing approachesand the guy who had just done his ‘installation’ walkedback over to me.“Well that was helpful” i muttered under my breath.“Just you wait…” replied my new friend…But What Happened Next, I’ll Never ForgetAlex immediately headed to the main bar. My first thought?He’s going to get a drink.And chances are that’s what the girl who was leaned upagainst the bar thought, too.Alex rolled up, said something quickly to the bar tenderand turned towards the attractive brunette next to himand casually said hi.He wasn’t shaking. He wasn’t turning read. And there wereno sweat marks.“hm…this is an improvement..’ I thought to myself.Then I watched as she responded to him. He smiled.And then said something else.Again, not much..but this was NOT the same guy I’d seenan hour earlier.Back and forth they went.He said something. She smiled.She spoke, he nodded suggestively.More talking, more flirting.Then a playful hug. She’s laughing.She grabs his hand. And they’re off to the dance floor…Minutes later, the two are kissing.It was at this moment that I realized..THIS INSTALLATION STUFF WAS FOR REALOver the coming weeks and months I watched as this guyas did installations again and again for students on my$7,000 residential program.An overweight teenager who’d flown to London for aresidential, knew the game inside and out but haddeep limiting beliefs about his weight that werecausing him to FREEZE at the last second beforethe extraction…A seemingly successful mortgage broker who lookedVERY well adjusted and as if he WOULD be good withwomen…But when he opened his mouth he literally OOZEDwith neediness and a desire for acceptance.And on, and on it went…These guys went into the ‘installation’ sessions withDEEP inner game problems…things that had been messingthem up for YEARS…and walked out…LITERALLY asnew men.All of this led me to only one logical conclusion…IHAD to find a way to ‘bottle up’ what this guy was doingin these private one-on-one sessions and share it withthe world as I’d originally hoped to do.And that’s exactly what we set out to do.And So It Began…For months I worked alongside this man to engineer asolution.We compiled all of the student profiles from the bootcampsto make sure there was no inner game issue left out.Built frameworks for performing the installations on amany-to-one basis.And went through the painstaking process of determiningthe optimal format for doing these mass installations.After testing 7 different variations we found the perfectformula-  a combination of video presentations and audioinstallations. The video to include the covert non-verbalcues he uses to prepare clients for change…And then the audios to do the real deep work – the uprootingof the negative beliefs, states and attitudes…And the subsequent installation of the positive new ways ofbeing and behaving.Finally came the scripting and production of the program,which took AGES. But by the middle of August 2010, we hadthe rough version of the program done.It was time to get it into the hands of our students tomeasure its effects.Putting It To The TestWe got together dozens of guys from the London area, agesranging from 20 to 54, and we gave them test copies.Their mission?Go home, watch the videos and listen to each of the audios.Then, report back 30 days later to tell us what happened.The second week of September, the first call came in.Ahead of schedule.It was from the 20 year old college student we’d giventhe installation program to.He had some exciting news to report.
