Description

Paul Zaichik- ElasticSteel Grappler-Strength and Flexibility Instructional CourseI will confess… I took a test and failed. I tried the advance stretching routine for grapplers on this DVD and could not get it done. That was a wake up call. LOL! I am now working to improve and am sure that soon I can pass the test and complete the advanced routine. This DVD is about grappler specif training. MMA, BJJ, Judo, Western Catch etc if you do any of those you can benefit big time from this info. The routines are progressive and will aid in core power as well as mobility and over all flexibility. I am very pleased to have gotten this.I am a big guy and I in shape. I box, do some kickboxing as well as wrestle. Sure I can stand to lose 2-3% of my body fat overall… but I keep toned. I have decent flexibility and great range of motion. So when I got this DVD I was shocked at the fact that it could tax me. It did- and more over it TAUGHT me new awareness about how to move when doing conditioning training and exercises for warming up and for mobility training in the grappling arts. Hey, I am not fighting Brock Lesnar or anything (that would not last long- he’d get his hand raised at thenend… OW! My ego… Ah truth…) but I am skilled and do pride myself at being in working/fighting form. This DVD and its leveling up of exercises and routines was a big boon to my quest to keep getting better, skill wise (not addressed in the DVD. Its fitness not fighting) and conditioning wise. This is pushing me to be in better shape! In the comments I will say a bit more.Again  Paul Zaichik looks like a mousy nerd. Get over that prejudice of his image and watch, listen, follow along and DO the DVD movements and take his advice and you will progress. This is very helpful! From Amazon:Quote:Product DescriptionGrappler Instructions – Strength and flexibility conditioning for Grappling DVD. Extreme STRENGTH and FLEXIBILITY can now be Yours! Grappler Instructional Strength & Flexibility DVD! ElasticSteel Grappler DVD is a perfect balance of strength and flexibility training aimed at improving the game of a grappler. Presently grapplers from all walks of life are beginning to recognize the benefits of flexible lower body. What people are slow to see are the benefits of specific strength development. Many grapplers still rely on squats and other similar exercise in their training. Those are great general conditioning tools, but they don’t transfer to a very specific strength needed on the ground in close quarters, where most of the game takes place. Specific strength does a lot more than that. It helps to develop flexibility. In other words strong quadriceps won’t help when you want to develop flexibility in your inner thighs or outer hips. At the same time specific strength allows the flexibility to be functional. For example, what good is your ability to get your leg into the right position if you have no strength to maneuver it, once it’s there? ElasticSteel Grappler DVD hits all these points right on the bull’s eyes. Every exercise is designed to develop strength or flexibility and in many cases both abilities simultaneously for specific applications in close quarters. It’s not enough to know the moves and the right time to apply them. You must have the ability to use them. This DVD gives you that ability. If you are a grappler looking to supplement your time on the mat, this is the only tape you’ll ever need. Just follow the routines and your strength and flexibility will soon reach new heights.Amazon link:http://www.amazon.com/Elasticsteel-Grappler-Strength-Flexibi…His site with a Youtube video:http://www.elasticsteel.net/Grappler_Flexibility_Stretching_…There is a great overview (marketing copy) of what the program is and what it offers.
