“Mega Brain Zones” psycho acoustic meditation tapes produced by Michael Hutchinson.  c.1994Michael Hutchison has produced a series of tapes with binaural beats called the MEGA BRAIN ZONE tapes. These are different from other binaural beat tapes in that rather than producing beat frequencies in one audible range, the beats are produced in both the low (40-60 Hz) and in the 15,000 Hz inaudible range. That is, a 4 Hz beat is produced by playing signals at 40 and 44 Hz and 15,000 and 15,004 Hz simultaneously or phaselocked. Both low and high frequency binaural beats are accompanied by low amplitude beats in “harmonic box” combinations in the 80 Hz range. Again, these beats are phase locked with high and low frequency beats. Thus, binaural beats are created at three separate levels, producing a synergistic effect.These tapes are 30 minutes each.  Stereophonic headsets are required and should be used only in a safe location.  Don’t drive or operate potentially dangerous equipment when using these tapes.Read the descriptions below to get a feel for how they are to be used.  Some can be used in an attentive mode such as when learning or exercising.  Some require that you to be in a posture that allows deep meditation.(Deep Relaxation) – one slides into a wonderful eased condition and feels amazingly recovered after 30 minutes. (Peak Performance) – is for concentrated attention; such as working on a PC or playing a game.(Focus) – is for a condition of relaxed attention and the ability to concentrate at any time easily and intensively; such as when learning new material.(Exploration) – serves for free associating and finding creative problem solutions.(Flow) – centered meditation; such as discovering the silence of the ZEN.(Awakening) – expansive meditation. This music lets you expand beyond time and space, whereby an entrance to new dimensions can open.
