In 2009 he has been awarded the rank of 15th Khan by the Kru Muay Association of Thailand (Association of Muay Thai Teachers).He is the Technical Director and founder of International Muay Boran Academy (IMBA), since 1993; today IMBA is wide spread all over the world, and the Academy’s branches are now present in 20 countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia.As a Muay Boran teacher he specializes in Mae Mai and Look Mai techniques and in the year 2007 he has won the World Title in the first Muay Boran single Form Competition held in Bangkok National Stadium.He has been a professional boxers’ trainer since 1989 and he has coached 8 World Muay Thai Champions and 3 European Champions.In the year 2000 he has produced an innovative fighting system, based on traditional bare knuckle Muay (called modern Muay Kard Chiek), that is actually in use in many IMBA member countries.He has written 6 books, four of them about Muay Boran and two about Muay Thai andhe authored more than 250 articles about Muay in International Martial Arts Magazines.He also produced 15 videos on Muay Thai and Muay Boran Training and techniques.He is a columnist and Muay Thai expert for the international martial arts magazine Budo International (published in Spain and issued all over Europe and South America), since 1997.
