If you know contact juggling, you know it is very hard to find good instruction on the art. A great advantage of these videos is that you are taught by both artists as a team each giving their unique insights into doing various manipulations. This is helpful as different body types and perspectives lend to different styles, techniques and possibilities. The filming is clearly shot and shows multiple angle shots of the manipulations when appropriate. Part 1:Maldonado & Edson.The DVD begins with a montage showing awesome techniques by both artists. These guys are really good. This is followed by a section of discussion and up close video demonstrations of a whole slew of tricks narrated by one artist and performed in steps by the other. Each chapter is introduced with a few seconds of fun footage and goofing around that is shot in black and white making it easier to find the start of each section. A bit of comedy here and there helps keep you entertained while you’re learning. The instructional portion closes with a off-the-deep-end philosophical discussion to keep you philosophy majors on your toes.
