Description

Kenrick Cleveland – Structure of Thought GB this lesson, we’re going to go in a different direction. We’re going to head somewhere new and we’re going to talk in this lesson about metaprograms. It’s been many, many, many years since I have done anything where we put all the metaprograms together and gone through them and I thought the best place to do this is with you. So, I have a lot of insights to make these more useful for you and I think that will help you to learn to do them more readily and especially when we put them all together so that you can get a good idea so we’re going to get through a bunch of them in this lesson and let’s just dive right in. Okay, so let’s start with some overall thoughts on metaprograms, shall we? And I guess it’s probably a good idea to start with what is a meta-program. That’s a good question. Alright, so first of all let me just give you some examples, right? So; towards-away, sameness-difference, internal-external – these are all metaprograms, okay? If you haven’t heard much of these in the past, don’t worry, you’ll be learning all you need to know about them and then some. So now you learned in other my programs, for example, the concept of towards and away combined with criteria, right? You learned to use it and you speak the way they are in all that you do. So, you learn to use it and it would be in connection, in combination with criteria and so, for example, if let’s say their high criteria is financial freedom and you determine that that’s an away-from value then, as you talk about how your program is going to be giving them financial freedom, you’ll back the ambulance right up to their door, so to speak and you’ll be talking about all the problems that they have as a result of not having financial freedom. So, that would be using the away-from, alright? Alright, so those are a kind of some just a little bit of examples for those of you that have heard a little bit about this and, if you haven’t, again don’t worry. But let me go a little deeper and tell you that, what these really are, are content-free patterns that shapes how we process information. That’s what they really are, okay?
