Very quickly you will be drawn into the performances, which are all in a close-up environment. The audience reactions are all genuine and they are completely baffled and amazed by Jack. As you watch the DVD, the effects continually build Jacks credibility as a mind reader to the point where he has total control of his performance and surroundings. The location of the DVD is set in a theatre. Each effect on the teaching section is also broken down into simple sections such as Preparation, Explanation etc. I am very interested in understanding Jacks approach to scripting, he has clearly thought about the messages he wants to convey to the audience and kept the subject simple, direct and different… hopefully in future projects he will be able to expand on this topic…very important when performing mentalism and I enjoy Jacks approach.Final ThoughtsJack Curtis is one to watch… I think we will hear a lot more about Jack in the future… I believe he has the potential to have his own UK television specials because he has that certain something when he performs and his effects although extremely powerful are purely vehicles to establish his credentials as a man of mystery and amaze the audience which should always be the intent.There may be more creative, greater hyped products released this year but as far as value for money, production qualities, watchability and quality of effects goes this is my 2014 product of the year…I know we are in May and there is half a year left but this is definitely one of my Top 5 Mentalism DVDs . I look forward eagerly to Jacks next release, buy this DVD…you will not regret it.Final Verdict9/10
