According to Amazon.com and other websites, a new Joe Bonamassa DVD titled “Joe Bonamassa: Lead Guitar Unlimited” will be released. The Lead Guitar DVD if released, should be an instructional DVD. The product description from Amazon states “Youngster Joe Bonamassa sits down for his first Hot Licks DVD release and hammers out the details of playing lead guitar with style and flair. Mimicking the styles of greats such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck, Bonamassa shows how the solo is an important part of music, and how if it’s not done right, it can ruin any good song.” We do know that Joe released a Hot Licks VHS during the Bloodline era. This could be a possible DVD version of that VHS or a completely new DVD. That’s up for conversation, but next week we should know. Scheduled release date is July 10th.
