Description

Uploader comments Those who lift weights already know who coach Poliquin is, and this is the book which made him famous. Personally, I think that lately Poliquin is making a lot of unsbustantiated claims. This, however, does not apply to this book. It is scientifically ground, and covers  sets, reps,  periodization and also has routines for body parts as well. A lot of apparently “new stuff” is already covered here.If you are serious about weghtlifting, and understand the importance of education, then you must have this book, recommended by almost eveyone in this field ( see,  for instance,Tom Venuto, in his book “Burn The Fat, Feed do Muscle”, available here as a pdf and here as an audiobook ).If you want to read coach Poliquin recent articles, use this link: http://www.t-nation.com/ALSAuthor.do?p=Charles%20Poliquin&am… (In my opinion, let me repeat, a lot of his new stuff has no scientific ground. Seems to me that  he is attempting to disguinsh himself from the others with fancy stuff. But, I repeat again, “The Principles” are excellent).Do not forget to rate the file, and post your comments bellow. The other product files I uploaded are available here:1) ) free to send me a pm if I can help you out.READ – GRASP – APPLY – PERSIST – AND ACHIEVE! Intended for the purpose of helping athletes to improve at their sport and non-athletes to gain muscle mass, it has become a well-known work in its field. The Poliquin Principles has been been described as being accessible to the beginner,[1] and also of use to the more advanced trainer.[2]. The book is extremely well-researched and contains references to studies done on several continents. In Amazon.com’s editorial review they noted, “From obscure European journals, [Poliquin] found a ton of information on such arcana as the speed at which an exercise should be performed and the amount of rest that should be taken between exercises.”[1] Despite the emphasis on research and technical nature of much of the book, Amazon.com gave it a positive review and summarized it as, “… a serious training manual that’s also a lot of fun to read.”[1] Other reviews were positive overall,[2] but criticized the layout and poor photos which did not serve much illustrative purpose.[2]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Poliquin_PrinciplesAmazon users’ reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Poliquin-Principles-Successful-Strengt…
