Brook Benten, M.Ed. is the President of Cardiopump Fitness, LLC. A few of her certifications include: ACSM- HFS, ACE Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, Physical Mind Institute, and Kettlebell Concepts. Brook obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise and Sport Science, and her Master’s of Education in Physical Education with emphasis in Fitness Administration. Brook Benten’s professional objective is to teach fun fitness classes which break negative associations to exercise and catalyze improvements in social, emotional, and physical wellness in the lives of others.Cardiopump Fusion is a hybrid blend of Power Yoga, Bootcamp, Kickboxing, Plyometrics, and Sports Drills. There are also two kettlebell chapters. Cardio Kettlebell features traditional kettlebell exercises, and provides a lower body blast. Kettlebell Crank features advanced kettlebell exercises, and delivers full body conditioning. Finish these intense workouts with the restorative yoga-derived Relaxation Bliss cool-down. A diverse cardio segment and a kettlebell-based aero/tone section. It’s exceptionally well-planned and “purposeful” — each series is clearly designed to maximize results. You’ll begin with pure fat-burning — a varied mix of kickboxing, bootcamp, plyometrics and sports drills. That’s followed by two aero/tone segments — cardio-speed, kettlebell exercises. The first is lower-body focused; the second works your upper and lower body at the same time (e.g. a low chop combined with a lateral lunge). Yoga-style warm-up and cooldown. Brook Benten is fun; her cuing is clear and precise but not “too serious.” Requires a 10 lb.
