Use this for characters who are somewhat educated and who are not specifically identified as being working class or coming from particular regions (like the midlands, North Country or West Country). BRITISH NORTH COUNTRYDialects from Northern England–especially the Yorkshire and Lancashire areas. Also includes brief instruction on modifications necessary for creating the Liverpool sound. The Manchester dialect is in between the North Country and Liverpool sounds.DAVID ALAN STERN, Ph.D. founded DIALECT ACCENT SPECIALISTS, INC. in Hollywood in 1980. He has coached business executives, broadcast media personalities, government officials, actors, and members of the clergy to modify accents and speak more expressively for over thirty years.
