The book contains meditations and exercises that are aimed at helping the practitioner channel energies in positive directions, strengthen self-esteem, improve overall health, and experience deep relaxation.Originally poublished in 1978, it has sold more than three million copies in English and another three million in the more than 30 languages.  According to the publisher, this revised anniversary edition contains additional “meditations, exercises, and techniques that can become part of your everyday routine.” It seems to me visualisation and affirmations are a common theme running through all of the seduction ‘methods’.  How many times has a ‘guru’ instructed the audience “Close your eyes, imagine…”The PDF version of this book is available in another product titled ‘David DeAngelo Recommended Books’: , strangely, the audiobook is missing on TCG.  Napoleon Hill – Think and Grow Rich -recommended by almost every ‘guru’ Maxwell Maltz – Psycho Cybernetics -recommended by Lance Mason, David D and on the mASF reading list Ross Jefferies – ‘Unstoppable Confidence’ cassette tape set’The Secret’ -highly popular video on TCG David DeAngelo’s ‘ideal self’ visualisation and his version of the ‘timeline’ exercise, as heard in the Advanced Dating Series Brent’s affirmations and his controversial but successful philosophyTyler Durden describing his first impression of watching Mystery in the field, realising what was actually possible and that ‘what one man can do another can do’ (my guess is he could then SEE HIMSELF doing ‘the impossible’) The rest is history. These examples and so many others all testify that until you can visualise/imagine yourself doing something (VERY CLEARLY), you will have a tough time doing it.  You MUST see it as possible in your mind, and you must see yourself doing it (else it is not part of your self-image with which you unconsciouly always act in accord- see Maltz).
