Past President of the European Association for Gestalt Therapy and actually president of FIAP (Italian Federation of the Associations of Psychotherapy). She has contributed to Gestalt therapy literature with several publications (regarding the theory of self, Gestalt therapy training, therapeutic process, Gestalt therapy in psychiatric structures, a Gestalt therapy model to give birth, etc.) and has edited the books «Gestalt Therapy: Hermeneutics and Clinical», and «Creative License: The Art of Gestalt Therapy» (Springer: Wien, New York, 2003, with N. Amendt-Lyon). She edits the Italian journal “Quaderni di Gestalt ” (since 1985) and has introduced in Italy the most relevant Gestalt psychotherapists, and literature.She is an international trainer of Gestalt psychotherapy, leading workshops in many Countries; she also cooperates with many research groups on psychotherapy internationally.She organized the 6th European Conference of Gestalt Therapy (Palermo, October 1998), the 7th International Conference of Gestalt Therapy (Naples, November 2002) and the Second Italian Conference of all methods of Psychotherapy (Siracuse, April 2005). She is one of the founders of the European Conferences of Gestalt Therapy Writers.
