Description

How to Khoomei(throat singing)This book packs a lot of information into a relatively small space. It’s geared toward a novice who wants to learn the basics and gives a good overview of the various styles of Western Overtone Singing and the Asian styles. The CD has 43 tracks which give examples of the sounds one should be making to correspond to the photo(s) and description as one progresses through the book. At first glance one might think it would be better if the author used videos rather than photos and audio clips, but Cope’s approach seems to require a person to go slowly and take their time with the content, which is exactly what is needed as a beginner. This book isn’t going to teach you to master the art of overtone singing; no book, CD or video (or even single instructor) could do that; that will take years. But one doesn’t have to be a master to begin enjoying the art. Want to start learning to khoomei? This book is for you.Amazon linkhttp://tinyurl.com/KhoomeiIf you google TUVA you can find singers using this amazing special method of singing. This is at least for me a rare find and a little pricing on Amazon. I certainly did not find a dupe on elib but then again I am sure someone is working hard at at it. Seriously I do search high and low before I upload but the problem is so many torrents are not labeled correctly and you can only do so many variations.Hopefully this one will stay.Happy Easter to all and hope the bunny(ies) brought you something nice, sweet, and dark!I hope you all enjoyBaba13Here’s a sample from youtubehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNFSB4PnVPI&feature=share…
